A surprise for me and my husband last night. I invited our close friends over for a suprise pre-retirement party for my husband. Tomorrow is his last day of 30 years with his company. Work will be having a big party for him,but our son was coming out for Monday and Tuesday from Calif.,so wanted to have him here for last night. Our oldest kept his Dad out all day yesterday target practicing so I could get ready. well,guess what number 2 son from Calif. and his GF brought me for a belated Valentines present.....Yes!!..All wrapped up in a big box..Sunflower Fiesta. I had been telling Lisa,his GF how I wished I could find some,becaus when I was in Calif.,they were all sold out. She has a friend that works at Bloomies and when some came in,she had her put it aside and call her. I was too thrilled,and immediately put it out for the party. Not enough for a complete table,but it's bright sunflower yellow,acented very well with my vintage and glowed brightly in the candlelight. So I took a few pictures:-)

I brought out out vintage home brewed pomegrante wine,and used my Fiesta wine tops.

What could be better,,Fiesta..Friends..Food..wine..and retriement soon to hunt more treasures.

And..I'm promised a trip to the Outlet when it has the Sunflower in stock!!!!
